How Ukiah High School applies computers to education...

MESA Computer Lab

The Ukiah High School MESA computer lab in room H12 consists of several Macintosh computers. Three of our Macs have Internet access and are available for all students to use for school-related purposes along with our collection of useful programs on CD-ROMs. There is usually an aide in the room ready to help out with any questions.

Keyboarding

Ukiah High School has classes for teaching keyboarding skills and computer applications. Two classrooms at UHS have Macintosh and PC systems, with Microsoft Works installed.

Computer-Assisted Design

The CAD lab consists of several networked PCs for the CAD and advanced drafting classes.

Business Math

Networked IBM PS/2 systems are used for teaching Math Marketing/Technology. All of these computers are connected via a Novell network to an IBM PS/2 server.
